Five levels of purpose-built rental on top of ground floor retail. This development combines the conveniences of downtown living, while offering direct access to downtown Lethbridge’s largest park.

A modern rental community located in the Central Beltline district of Calgary. Versus emerged from the ashes of a former stalled development, requiring the project team to adaptively reuse the existing parkade and core layouts.

Ice District

At 2.7 million sq.ft., the Ice District is the largest mixed-use sports and entertainment district in Canada. The comprehensive development consists of the JW Marrior Edmonton, two AAA office towers, Legends and Sky Condo towers, and a comprehensive retail offering including Loblaws City Market, Rexall Drug Store, the Canadian Icehouse, and several premium restaurants.

Citizen on Jasper

Located on Edmonton’s premier high street, Citizen on Jasper is a 33-storey mixed-use rental tower. Designed in collaboration with visually impaired architect Chris Downey, Citizen pays homage to the site’s former occupant (Canadian National Institute of the Blind) through commemorative braille fins located along the building’s facade.

Cole Richardson is the Founder and Managing Principal of Bankside Properties and has over 15 years of real estate investment and development experience across Western Canada. From conceptualization, through project underwriting, design, construction, and marketing, Cole oversees all aspects of the development process.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from UBC and a Master of Science (with Distinction) in Real Estate Development from NYU. Previously, Cole held a senior role at an institutional development firm.

Senior Advisor

With over 40 years of experience in various facets of commercial real estate, including mixed-use, multi-family, office, industrial, and retail, Tom has unrivaled knowledge of the development and construction process and provides expertise related to the execution of major projects.

He was previously a partner and the Senior Vice President of Design and Construction for an institutional development firm, where he was responsible for the oversight of all high-rise and commercial construction projects across Canada.

Tom is currently a Board Member with WILDNorth: Northern Alberta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation. WILDNorth provides rescue, urgent and critical care to injured and orphaned wild birds and small mammals.
